Dr. Bruno’s original post: The recommendation we made at the Post-Polio Institute for polio survivors, is that "barely abnormal" blood work findings -- should be treated. They would not be treated in non-polio survivors.

  • "barely low" (e.g., T3/T4 thyroid hormones and anemia markers) or

  • "barely high" (e.g., TSH=thyroid stimulating hormone) --
