Public Health Youth Summits
We are happy to engage high school and college students in conversations about Public Health.
We began this journey in April 2025, to offer an exciting experience for science-loving students, in a non-political, science based format. We engage them for a day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration.
As we honor Rotary International's Focus on Fighting Disease, we hope to help students understand how this impacts them both locally and globally.

Personal Stories
Jim Smith was totally paralyzed from the neck down at age 2. His parents were told “the hospital is full - take him home”. Jim has his own special perspective to life with the effects of this terrible virus.
One August day I was outside in front of our home playing hopscotch with some of the other girls in the neighborhood, when I realized I did not feel well. A few days later, my right arm was paralyzed.
