The History and Science of Vaccines (Video)

Alice Gonglewski is the program manager for the Vaccine Makers Project of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Her presentation includes an explanation (complete with a trivia game) of how our bodies build defenses against germs, and how vaccines mimic the response. The historical video goes back to the Civil War and traces Pennsylvania's significant role in vaccine history.
