This short film explores the ongoing fight against infectious diseases like smallpox, polio, rubella, hepatitis B, and COVID-19 through the work of vaccine scientists in Pennsylvania, including Jonas Salk, Maurice Hilleman, Stanley Plotkin, Drew Weissman, Katalin Karikó and more. These PA-based scientists pushed innovation forward, ultimately contributing to the health of populations around the world.
