Vaccines change the world is a well written book that looks into the history and science of vaccines. It is an informative and illustrated book written for middle school and teens that will captivate, inform and entertain the reader. It gives an overview of how vaccines are discovered and evolved through history. It also discusses their immense impact on public health. 

This book does a great job discussing complex scientific concepts to middle school and teen readers an interesting manner, that is obtainable to them. It also helps them to connect with scientists and current events in public health. 

This book highlights the importance and necessity of vaccines, and the science behind their development.

Donna Booth is a retired science professor, having taught at the College of the Ozarks, Ozarks Technical Community College and Missouri State University in Springfield MO.
