  • On October 14, 2024 polio survivors all over the US and abroad lost an amazing advocate. We have received tributes from all over the world and are sharing some of those with you.

  • We brought you an extensive article by Dr. Bruno that will be of interest to ALL polio survivors and their caregivers.

Introducing the Survivors on our Volunteer Team

  • Between August and December, we have been bringing you the stories of the five survivors who are actively engaged on our volunteer team.

  • Jim Smith was totally paralyzed from the neck down at age 2. His parents were told “the hospital is full - take him home”. Jim has his own special perspective to life with the effects of this terrible virus.
