Nighttime “Involuntary” Leg Movements

Original Post: Regarding medications for involuntary leg movements at night, do you still recommend low dose Xanax?

Dr. Bruno’s Response: We always recommend a diagnosis and a source of the problem before recommending any medications.

Please look at our article Abnormal Movements in Sleep and on Muscle Twitching at Night in polio survivors. They can help your conversation with your physician.

There are multiple articles under the topic of “Sleep” in the Index of the Encyclopedia of Polio and PPS.
