June 2024 Newsletter

Inside this Issue:

Summer. It’s the time of year when so many of us travel. We’ve heard from many of you asking for information about airlines and mobility equipment. We all realize that for those of us with walking limitations it’s just not that easy.

Traveling down the Pacific Coast Highway in California is just a dream for many of us. We’ve brought you a story that we loved. A wheelchair user, the author shows us just how it’s done. For those that it remains a dream, her photography will have you dipping your toes right into the Pacific Ocean along with her.

We read a lot about travel scams these days. AARP has great advice. “Don’t let criminals steal your fun with fake booking sites, bogus deals and other rip-offs.”

There’s nothing quite like the ups and downs of navigating travel bumps to bring friends together. Survivors Carol Ferguson and Ina Pinkney have both had good and not so good experiences with airline travel. Their stories come together in the most positive way.

What Information can I give my Physician about PPS? Tied with “Can I exercise”, this may be our #1 question.

We have information that can help.
